As players progress through Shrines of Reflection, the Occultist will gradually gain more offensive skills that allow him to become an effective damage dealer. 🔸In the early game when the Occultist does not yet have access to his entire skillset, his main roles in battles are applying Negative Tokens on enemies to reduce their combat efficiency or healing allies on critical condition. (no access to various skills: Daemon's Pull, Binding Shadows, The Burning Stars, and Abyssal Artillery) (access to most skills, Sacrificial Stab usable on Rank 3, no access to Anamnesis) (access to all skills, Abyssal Artillery usable on Rank 3, Anamnesis usable on Rank 2) The token generated by Ritualist cannot be resisted. "I drift in the starless skies of the void." Other paths may be unlocked in The Living City by spending Candles of Hope. All Heroes start the game on the default Wanderer path, which rewards candles upon reaching the second Inn but has no other effects.
